James "Jim" Neshewat has called North Florida home for more than 30 years. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with Bachelor's degrees in Economics and English Literature, Jim went on to earn his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Drawing on a rare combination of legal and financial training, Jim brings a depth of perspective to client relationships that few advisors can offer.
Jim works with individuals, families, business owners, and healthcare professionals — helping identify tax-efficient estate and investment strategies while implementing them in a seamless and effective manner to help each client work toward their goals. Jim brings strength to his clients' financial plans through his knowledge of various financial and legal avenues often overlooked by individuals and their advisors. By complementing existing plans and supplementing previous decisions, Jim helps his clients work toward financial success through a planning process that is client-focused through education, protection, and trust.
Jim emphasizes that a quality financial plan requires a comprehensive approach that looks beyond investment and insurance positions. He is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners make informed decisions across all areas that impact their financial future — embracing a holistic approach to protecting what clients have worked hard to build from unknown events, including market volatility, liability, taxes, and conditions that can compromise long-term financial security.
Jim is active in his professional communities of law and financial advising and commits his time to educating fellow advisors and attorneys. Jim loves to spend time with his wife, Dallas, and three sons, Paul, Silas, and Jude. His hobbies include basketball, college football, and local charitable volunteering.

Insley Edgar has been a cornerstone of St. Johns Asset Management since 2016. Over a decade with the firm, her role has grown alongside the clients and the practice she helps serve.
A native of Putnam County, Florida, Insley holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management and brings a grounded, people-first approach to everything she does. What began as a foundation in office management and client service has evolved into something much broader: a career defined by operational leadership, fiduciary commitment, and a genuine investment in the financial wellbeing of every client SJAM serves.
As Chief Operating Officer and Fiduciary Financial Advisor, Insley plays a central role in ensuring that the financial plans designed for clients are not only thoughtfully crafted — but effectively implemented and kept on track over time. She works closely with advisors to coordinate cash flow strategies and income distribution planning, bringing the same logic-driven approach that defines SJAM's standard of care.
Insley's influence extends beyond the firm. She has been invited to serve on national boards, study groups, and organizations dedicated to educating financial firms on practice management, operational efficiency, and adherence to fiduciary duty. Her work in these spaces reflects a deeper commitment: raising the standard of care that advisors provide to the clients who trust them.
That commitment is personal. Insley finds purpose in building long-term relationships with clients — and in knowing that each day she's helped move someone closer to where they want to be.
Outside the office, Insley is married to James Edgar, an attorney practicing in St. Augustine. They have two children, Kylar and Iris.
